Distraught over the lack of progress in solving their daughter's disappearance, Ryan and Elsie Delaney have taken the LAPD forensics lab hostage with the ultimatum: Either find their daughter or they will destroy all the evidence for other cases that they can find. Detective Charlie Hoskins, who had been undercover with a deadly motorcycle gang, must find the Delaney's daughter or risk losing all the evidence he'd collect over five years. By his side, disgraced rookie cop, Lynnette Lamb, sees the case as her one chance to return to the career she dreamed of all her life. But Hoskins and Lamb have only 24 hours to find the missing girl before everything goes up in flames.

FIRE WITH FIRE is a tense rollercoaster filled with actions, twists, and gripping suspense. From the very first page, Fox's taut writing draws the reader into a fast-paced tale that is a five star must-read. The intricate plot, and subplots, are well-defined and engaging. The writing is masterful, proving that Fox is at the top of her game.
The characters are the highlight of FIRE WITH FIRE. Their depth and development through the book makes them not only interesting but also memorable. They are human and flawed and believable. The reader may walk away with an overwhelming wish that there was a sequel.
With its breakneck pace and constant twists, FIRE WITH FIRE will leave the reader clamoring for more.
