When Detective Jennie Whitmore attends her school reunion, she regrets choosing to reconnect with people who were never kind to her. The only person who truly cared for her was Hannah, who mysteriously disappeared years ago. But when the demolition of her old school reveals the remains of Hannah’s body, Jennie must solve her best friend’s murder before her colleagues uncover her connection to the victim or a stalker threatens to silence her.

In THE REUNION, Arlidge and Broadribb present a fast-paced and gripping tale that compels the reader to turn the page. Peppered with twists, the novel brilliantly weaves a tight plot around compelling characters in a tale of secrets and betrayal.
Where THE REUNION really shines is with its cast of characters, each with their own secrets to hide. The main protagonist, in particular, is a deeply damaged police detective compelled to investigate the death of her own childhood best friend. The novel cleverly draws together seemingly disconnected characters threads morphing from a simple murder case into a tale that engulfs all characters involved.
The drama and suspense drive a plot that keeps readers engaged from the start, culminating in a finish that is breathtaking. THE REUNION is a superb tale that would keep any thriller fan up far too late.
